While you'd be forgiven for not realising it, the plumbing in your home is a very complex beast. There many different types of plumbing systems in your home, including water supply, sewer, irrigation and stormwater, to name a few.

For each of these systems, there are also a great many different sorts of fittings used to help control the flow of water or gas, and in turn a great many different sorts of fixtures that we interact with to enjoy the benefits of our plumbing (toilets and showers, for example).
